Why on earth would anyone use Simulink for motor modeling? This is a conserved mixed-technology system; current, voltage, thermal, magnetics, etc. And after you have the motor... what next? What loads will you attached? And what design questions are you trying to ask? (e.g. What happens when the...
Sorry... but it appears your described "two" motor approach is a kludge, and an expensive one at that. The inserted motor "drag" merely serves as a system damper, but playing two motors off one another robs overall efficiency (and again elevates costs).
I believe if you can...
Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to find an off-the-shelf 3-phase brushless dc trapezoidal motor 12V - 48V range, and not too particular about particulars such as inertia, etc. at this point.
The real problem is finding a trap motor with solid performance data. I like to see the back EMF waveforms...
Not sure if this is possible...
I saw some documentation on get_param, but this
appears to be restricted to command line usage.
(not sure)
To be more complete... What I want to do is start,
pause, continue, and stop (end) the Simulink simulation
from external c-code.
Must I use RTW and TLC...

The question I have is that I'm trying to obtain more specs on the Bosch GPA 24V 750W DC motor (or similar motor). I've only seen fragments of its spec posted by various people on the web.
What I'm looking specifically for are:
1. Motor inertia
2. Motor winding inductance
But as a bonus... it...

But as a bonus... it would also be nice...
