    Using CAD and Excel together

    I use a cheap program called DotSoft, XL2CAD. http://www.dotsoft.com/ Very easy to use. Open Excel, do your typing, open Autocad, and start XL2CA program. Program asks where and scale to insert the spreadsheet into autocad.

    Overnall Swell/Compaction of shale

    I will be excavating and stockpiling and then rehandling this stockpile of shale. Is there an overall swell or compaction factor available? I will be not be using a normal sheep foot compactor but will use the normal rubber tire wheel traffic from off road trucks.
