    Whilst the temp range would probably indicate the use of a polyurethane type coating (will expand and contract) talk to the experts at AKZO NOBEL, JOTIN, etc, these guys are a couple of the many marine industries coating manufactures.

    Is this in an industrial or marine environment? Whilst the use of phosphoric acid has its uses, overcoating it with another paint can cause problems as the paint will bond with the magnatite (inert) layer and not with the underlying metal. I agree with not wanting to move equipment to blast...

    Initially I would have to say that a quick read of the galvanic scale would indicate large potentials between any of these materials. But in saying that I note that there is not much info with respect to pressures, temps, electric coil/gas/etc...... Are these real boilers or just water...
