Dear Engineer:
Would someone help me in solving the number of TEG absorber number of trays?!! The available equilibrium data for Natural gas -water -TEG system from M.S.Worley are in the table below :
TEG concentration Lb H2O/Lb TEG Equilibrium

Would anyone please, help me on the following:
1- Still column overhead condenser enthalpy (Qc) where i have fixed inlet and outlet cooling water temperature.
2- Reflux drum (downstream above condenser) heat balance, where i have top distillate as gas and bottom distillate as water and a...

Dear smart engineer;
Do any of you got an idea how to determine q or the vapor percentage in a feed of mixture prior entering a still column (at P= 1.4 bar and T= 148 C), and do we need to acount TEG in the flash calculation in order to calculate dew point and bubble point???

Thanks dcasto
This link may be useful as well, but i was struggling to use it since it is not for pure TEG.

GOOD MORNING:
Wish to everyone a happy new year, and wish all your dreams come true, soon,.
My end of the year question is " how to carry out flash calculation or x, y equilibrium calculation in TEG flash drum???
I have done flash calculation across the TEG contactor and i got the k values...
DEAR CHEM.ENG
I have a sweet feed gas of the following components;
C1,C2,C3,IC4,nC5, CO2(0.0005mol%), N2 (0.0254mol%)and H2S(0.000004% MOL), feed into an absorber using a lean TEG of 98.7 wt % as a solvent.
Im struggling to calculate the F=L+V= 1 , i tried to use Coulson and Richardson's...
