    Hi everyone, Thanks for the reply on 304. It's really helpful. When cold worked, 304 undergoes phase transformation, does it happen to 316/316L as well?

    I've seen there's T304 grade stainless steel and it's advertised as anti-magnetic. What is the composition to T304, is it the same as 304? Also, about being non-magnetic, does it applies to all austenitic grades? (all 300 series stainless steel)

    Pros and cons of PVD coatings

    I'm not sure which type of plating you are using, possibily TiAlCN or other similar materials. If applied properly, the wear resistance is really good. Many PVD platings are actually developed for the tooling industry for wear resistance.

    I understand glass can either be chemically toughened or tempered to achieve the right physical properties. Which method is most widely used and why?
