    Motor RPM Sizing

I forgot to state that it is a 1/3hp 1050rpm, 208-230v that is used on a Liebert condensing unit with a P66 pressure sensor control that controls the speed of the motor.

    Motor RPM Sizing

Qusetion, if a OEM motor is size at 208/230v 1050 rpm. Could you replace it with the same voltage but a 1075 rpm motor. How much is the different between cfm with a 1050 verses a 1075 rpm? Thanks

    chiller plant operation sequence

Using a BAS system our chiller starts when one of four air handlers are calling for mechanical cooling due to 'recirc' not satisfying space temps from VAV box. Sequence: Air handler 'On' - Chiller call to run-cooling tower pump 'on'-chill water pump'on'- bypass valve modulating to tower flow...

    McQuay/Sanyo Steam Absorption Chiller Problem

We are having and issue with air in our steam absorber. We had a ex-McQuay tech. in to decrystallize the chiller for 6 hrs. he add deionized water to the heat exchanger to do this. After about 30 hrs of work it is running but we still are getting air bubbles out of the purge tank and vessel...

    Fresh Air Exchanges

Yes most of the ceilings on first floor are 20ft with second floor ceiling at 12-14ft except for a rotunda area. I wondering if 35% is a good number to use at each AHU. We have been using this percentage for the past 5 yrs. So if I understand you right, we are getting 1.39% air exchanges per...

    Fresh Air Exchanges

How would you calculate for % of outside air into a 87,000 sq/ft library using 4 AHU's delivering a total of 115,000 cfm into the building. We currently are using 35% OS air at the dampers. What would the air exchanges be p/hr? Thank You
