I am a young engineer, and my Project Manager informed me today that we will be using Microstation to prepare as-builts. i have some experience with Autocad, and virtually none with Microstation. Are there any suggestions as to which online tutorials or instructional booklets are beneficial?

why would it cause detonation?

yeah, i knew that the detonation/ octane rating on the fuel would be the limiting factor. i just remember that my old roomate had like 11:1 compression and he was boosting slightly uner 10 lbs. on 100+ octane and there negligable lag, but having that said, there are a lot of factors that would...

what if you just increase the compression ratio, wouldnt this decrease lag?

yeah, thi is on an 87 celica, i have a leak from a broken egr controller/switch, which seems to be causing a sporatic idle. i think think that if i plug the line on the manifold, the problem will be fixed, i just wanted to be sure that no damage would occur from me doing this

If i remove the vacuum lines to the egr controller, are there any adverse affects aside from extremely high emmisions release?

We have the same problem here, we have 10 draftsmen, all use R14, and haveing to save as, save as and what not. Ideally 2005 would be the best, it is not too much different, but its improvements are helpful
