    Nate, I think I figured it out. You can only insert a BMP file. You can convert a jpg file to a bmp file with MS Paint.

    Nate, I'm having the same problem. I did find out that the image has to be a gif file but even then, when I try to insert a gif file it shows the actual image until in place it on the part. At that time it reverts to just the file name. Have you figured out the problem?
