    finite element modeling of ball bearing

    Hi, I am trying to simulate the connection between ball bearing, shaft and bearing housing. Do I have to model the bearings as solid or I can use spring elements (know the radial stiffness)? The shaft and bearing housing are modeled as solid parts. Thanks, Josh
