Thanks for the help, I believe I was able to correct the problem by setting the directory in which all of the toolbox parts are located as read only, and applying it to all of the sub folders and their contents.

I'm having issues when "Checking Out," assemblies in PDM Works. When the assembly includes a toolbox part, other users get messages that the toolbox parts are being modified, even though they are not. The other user cannot insert them into assemblies.

Also related to my new monitor mentioned in my previous thread... I have noticed that both dimensions on drawings and sketches in models appear very fuzzy on my screen. I have increased all of the performance and image quality settings without any noticeable difference. I have also played with...

Thanks guys, incidentally it turned out to be that my resolution settings in windows simply did not match that of th e monitor.

I recently upgraded to a high aspect ratio LCD monitor. I notice a "stretching," effect on my SolidWorks models, where circles become ellipses. I've tried playing with the resolution settings, but efforts have been unsuccessful.
