    Modelling of Composite Bonded Joints

Kieron, we model our laminate build up's on our proprietary software, however it analyses the ply build up, and ply stresses, and determines ply margins of safety, based on a Tsai-Hill calculation. It utilises NASTRAN load conditions. Is it ply behaviour your looking at modelling?

    Wrought aluminium

We are tying to determine strength data for Wrought Titanium. Does anyone know what the differences between a cold forged titanium and a Wrought Titanium are? Also, would using a heat forged Aluminium, value be acceptable? Thanks, Jim

    Poisson's ratio at elevated temperatures

If you consider what Poissons ratio is determined by, then would the thermal expansion constant not be the same for the material in both directions?, If so, this would suggest that poissons ratio wouldn't change.
