    Flood management in Indiana

Hello to all and many thanks in advance for advice & answers. A recent storm has led yet again to a flood of my home and I hope to get some thoughts on resolving this. First some info: *1500^2 ft ranch on footers (no slab) *sits at S. low point of 3 acres *1/4" per ft grade uphill to N & E *1/4"...

    Headset interface design

Hello, what is the intended purpose of the design? The physical interface can be quite simple if you are just looking to eliminate using 2 connectors for the mic/headphone. The broadcast industry standard is a 4 or 5 pin XLR connector which is reasonably durable and offers a much more reliable...

SMD RF transistor markings (or case style!???)

Thanks Comcokid for the response. The case appears to be plastic. The board has a date of 2-2005 so I would think the part is still current. Odd thing is I've seen the same case style in a radio I bought 4 years ago. Anyway I'll check out the link. Thanks again

SMD RF transistor markings (or case style!???)

OK, I've spent hours on the net looking for this one and I'm stumped. I have 2 types of SMD RF transistors, both in identical case styles. The case is about 4mmX4mm square with the leads in a 'plus' pattern with slight indents at the emitter tabs. The collector lead is slightly wider. The...

    300 Watt magnetron

If you havn't found one yet, Panasonic industrial makes a N terminated magnetron, model TO-75. It's output is only 200 watts though, might not be suitible for your app. Good luck, I'm sure other manufacturers will have sim. products.

    gen set exiter/field regulator

Thanks busbar and jbartos for the info. I found a AVR at Basler that will work, but it is very expensive considering the gen set it would be used for. kato had some old design specs, there AVR was also out of my range at $700. A bit much for my old 12kva gen set. I am hoping to build something...

    GEN SET FIELD REGULATOR CIRCUIT

Thanks Carl for the input and nbucska for the interest. I've actually already tried using a Variac transformer to feed the field, but there is feedback from gen. output to field. At a certain point the loop will become unstable, an increase in gen output will increase output of var. xfmr which...

    GEN SET FIELD REGULATOR CIRCUIT

Hello everyone. I am looking for a regulation circuit for a AC generator. Unit is 35 years old and I want to replace ancient(and bad) field regulator/exiter. The required voltage for the field is about 50 to 70 volts DC @ 5A. to generate 3 phase 120/208V AC.(depending on load, of course) The...

    gen set exiter/field regulator

I have an American Marc/Kato gen set with a bad exiter/regulator. Unit is 35 years old, looking to replace it with solid state circuitry. Does anyone have generic schematics for this? Field voltage needed is 50-70 volts DC at approx. 5A to generate 120/208 3 phase. Static field resistance is...
