internal pressure can influence natural frequencies in a steel pipe?

mikycampo, yes, the internal pressure has an effect in the natural frequencies of a pipe configuration, but the effect can be large or small depending of a lot of factors. as you know the frequency depends on stiffness and mass, an elbow is stiffened when subjected to internal pressure so the...

    quetion on liquid metering ststion

i want to thank dcasto(chemical)and BigInch(Petroleum) for their comments, that are very valuable to me. Just to clarify my poor description, yes, there is a pressure control valve after the block valve of the meter on the first configuration. What i have clear now is that the second...

    quetion on liquid metering ststion

my question is this: i have two liquid metering stations both are very similar in configuration, except that one has the outlet and the inlet to/from the Prover at the very end of the station, with a block valve in between outlet and inlet branches who also has block valves. The other...

I haven't found information on using Ms form VB programs

Zline thanks for your comment, yes I know that can basic for MS is there and have done some macros for certain purposes, my problem is that now I have a macro that hardly fits the 64Kb MS basic program limitation. I even tried to divide it in two macros but aparently the limitation persists.

    Vibration Readings.

Let's assume that the vibration displacement is a pure sine
x(t)=A * sin(wt), the first derivative gives the velocity
of the vibration that's is :v(t)= A * w * cos(wt)
So the relationship you are looking for is the rotational speed w (measured in rad/sec), the velocity amplitude V=...

Interested in low alloy metal creep failures information

I have found very scarce information on this type of failures and in real material properties to verify designs, does anybody have information or sugestions?
