Thanks for the reply.
We are, unfortunately, limited in our flow rate.
I'm interested in the Austin-Palfry equations, but I have been unable to find them. Can you help me out with that? Are they available in a document somewhere online?
Thanks.
I want to flush one hydrocarbon product out of a line with another hydrocarbon product. I need to calculate how much of the second fluid is required to flush out the first fluid down to 0.01 vol% (amount of first fluid left in the pipe) in a 26" line (4 miles long).
I have found the "power...
What is the maximum recommended differential pressure across an orifice meter run in a lean natural gas service?
Normally the meter would be sized for around 75" H2O so you can use a 0-100" H2O transmitter. What if you have an existing meter run and don't want to change anything, but you want...
Thanks for the repies. I followed the first link from EGT01 and got the spreadsheet I was looking for.
Cockroach, I have tried contacting HP. Their help was not very useful. If you do find any more information in your manuals, I'd love to see it.
Thanks.
Does anybody have an HP 41C calculator with manuals?
I was told that there is an algorithm for approximating the compressibility factor (Z) for natural gas in one of the manuals that came with the HP 41C. Does anybody have this? I want to put it into an Excel spreadsheet.
Thanks.
Does anybody know how I can calculate the aniline point of a hydrocarbon liquid from a liquid analysis?
I have a frac oil liquid analysis (including aromatics content) and I want to know how to calculate the aniline point. Can somebody help me?
Thanks.
Yeah, but I still have to assemble the title in cell A5 and then reference cell A5 in the title text box. I can't just enter the formula ="Pressure Drop for "&C2&" Inch Pipe" in the title text box.
At least my computer's not letting me do it.
Thanks, that's exactly what I was after.
Too bad, though, I can't use a fomula inside a text box. I have to have the formula inside the worksheet cell, and then refer to that cell in the text box.
I would like to link an Excel chart title to a cell in a worksheet. Does anybody know how to do this?
In other words, I have a spreadsheet cell that changes based on inputs from the user. I want the title of my chart to change with that cell.
E.g.: My cell in question reads, <4"> and I...
