Thanks,
I was in fact thinkinhg if it can be better to flow the molten sulfur inside a tube heat exchanger in a gas fired chamber or if it was better to keep sulfur in a "kettle" type boiler with gas firing inside the tubes submerged...
any idea or suggestion?
Thanks a lot for your suggestion, I was thinking to some kind of "special" polymeric gaskets but the graphoil solutions sounds much more reasonable....

Francesco
dear all,
we are planning the design of a small unit where we will flow a gaseous stream of H2S (purity from 40% upto 80%) at variable temperature (from 50°C upto 500°C).
Do you have any suggestions about the selection of material for both piping (max P = 6 barg) and gaskets/sealants for thread...
Dear all,
we are designing a small unit where we should vaporizein continuous a small amount of molten sulfur.
We have some concern due to the viscosity change of molten S (increase then decrease) so do you have any suggestion on the typeof "boiler" to be designed? We will appreciate any typeof...
Dear all,
could somebody give me a reference number for the thermal conductivity of sulfur in vapor phase?
Any value in a temperature range 450°C-600°C will be fine...
thanks
