    Recommended Shear Wall Design Software

    I have been using software by a company based in California, called LatPro. They can be found at lateralpro.com and have very good software called LatPro 1.7 which is CBC compliant. I have used it for years and find it simple to use and very comprehensive.

    If you like software, I have had great help using LatPro 1.7 which is based on the CBC. It can be found at lateralpro.com and allows the user to enter user defined shear walls, etc so you can try various designs.
