Calculating yield during a bituminous paving operation
While working for a paving contractor I used to use a factor 17.4 sy/ton/inch of asphalt. So for every ton of asphalt at one inch thick you place, you should cover approximately 17.4 sy, two inches is 8.7 sy and so on. Need information on Biosparging.
The wells range in depth from 200'-500'. It is impractical to excavate or turn the soil. The site was/is a heavy industrial manufacturing site. The contaminants are various fuel and machine oils. The soil is a very granular sandy soil so porosity should not be a problem. I am more...- JSheehan
