I am not very familiar with solidworks API functions so any help would be very appreciated. I have a software that scans a surface and stores the points in a file, is it possible to take that file and use solidworks to generate a 3d solid of the surface using the file...

i was able to change the reference in a drawing with a simple macro by using 2 API function :
GetDocumentDependencies2
ReplaceReferencedDocument
Those two functions allow me to get the present reference and change it to the appropriate new...
