I have a vinyl ester with carbon fiber reinforcments. I want to digest the matrix so I can calculate the fiber fraction etc. I am following ASTM D3171-11. It says to use 30-50% Hydrogen peroxide and to use 20mL of sulfuric acid. It doesn't say what concentration though. Does anyone know or...- SolidMechanics227

Best mesh for a circular surface
I am trying to do a 2D mesh for a crack tip. I was looking to do a spider-web mesh (similar to "mesh2" above). How do you get it do a circular pattern? I can do that if there is a hole in the middle but not with out that. For the crack tip there also needs to be multiple nodes at the tip...- SolidMechanics227
