Demon3 and Pat:
Thanks. I can not use Iron oxide due to its black color. Like Pat said, it's better to use nylon powder because of their huge density difference.
Let's see how it is going.
Anyone has the experince to compound nylon with 70% barium sulfate in a twin extruder?
Please share me with your experince, such as blending issue, additives including coupling agent, processing aid.
Thanks.
I need to buy a moisture analyzer to measure the moisture content in polymer pellets.
The titration instrument is definitely a good one. Do I have other choices? such as a very good balance with micro-oven?
Please inform the me the supplier information.
Hello,
I am looking for a type of soft rubbery material, which has a good adhesion with ABS and a good solubility in Acetone.
Definitely TPU is a very good candidate, but its solubility in Acetone is not good.
I tried SBS elastomer, but the adhesion with ABS was not good as TPU.
Thanks.
Thanks, Pat and Demon3.
Actually I talked to some big suppliers of pigment, such as Clariant and Ciba. They are also not sure for this issue. In my understanding, first, the pigment should not affect the degradation behavior of biodegradable plastic, second, it would not introduce the hazard...
I am looking for pigments for biodegradable plastic. Actually I am confused about which kind of standard I need to follow to pick up the pigment.
Thanks.
