Gap conductance and heat flux
Hello, I am using gap conductance as a function of clearance(clearance only) to simulate a coupled analysis. ABAQUS manual says q = K (temp1- temp2) and K is funtion of (k, d, average temp). bu I can not find the details about K. Could any body let me know the clearance value of Case B and...- qq9481

How to refine an axisymmetric mesh in the contact region ?
hello, My suggestion is also in line with fruton. I model seperate parts and tie them together and use bias mesh.(mapped mesh) thanks,- qq9481

Contact thermal conductance
Hi, My simulation is coupled temp-displacement analysis which consist of two parts. Part1 penetrates Part2 and makes elastic-plastic deformation,heat transfer and then detached. Simulation runs very well.(when i use arbitary contact thermal conductance value) Problem is that I don't know...- qq9481
