"Hybrid" I-beam - ribbed metal web, wood flanges
What does anyone out there heard know about an I-beam product I saw while traveling in Europe recently? It was used for both floor and roof support. Apparently it had an excellent market as an alternative to gluelam beams, and it really shines in the market for spans between 20 and 50 feet...- bouche
