@Keith and Bill truly apologize for the miss understanding. It was dumb of me to use the term Generator loosely (now looking back I would have been just as confused if someone else had as me that).
At the end of the day my question was how balanced do the cure to phases need to be? When I add...
Apologize for the delay. Took me a bit to come up with an schematic please see attached. https://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=f75e053f-29db-41cd-bcde-041011a7b0e7&file=F2CBD889-EEAE-4AB8-A75A-CDC2E9A10CFB.png
Working on my first panel for controlling 5 Water pumps 208 VAC @ 16A each, 5 generators 208 VAC @ 15 A each, 5 Generators 208 VAC @ 6A each. 5 water pumps 120 VAC at 10A each.
I am doing my best to balance my voltage source Y-connected 208 Vll (120Vln) @ 100A per phase.
For the most part...
Hello,
I am an EE and really have no knowledge in fluid dynamics. I need to inject CO2 gas into an air line. This is a regular air line as someone would have in a shop. It has an air pressure regulator and a hose of 25 ft. At the end of the hose there is a air nozzle gun. When I actuate the gun...
Great!! Thank you very much for the help. It is working great. I just did not know understand why the output of the 240 side was tied to neutral.
Really appreciated it.
Hello,
I have a system that requires 480 VAC and 230 VAC for certain components. The transformer that came with the machine went bad and I am trying to replace it (MURR ELEKTRIK 86147). I got a a different brand replacement. I am hooking up the 480 to the transformer and I am measuring 256 VAC...
Hello,
I have a generator that powers an ultrasonic transducer. The connection type is a BNC Female on the gen and BNC Male on the transducer. I am wondering in how it would be the best way to tap into the signal and measure it with an scope. I found these BNC T adapters that have 2 females and...
Thank you all very much for the help.
If I am understanding this correctly, per VEBill's comments I should try a High Impedance Prove and attach it directly to the BNC T? Also, I should match the impedance of the BNC T to that of the scope (RFstuff)? Or the HZ prove compensates for this?
Hello
I got some ultrasonic baths cleaners that we use on the semiconductor industry to clean parts. Our tanks are not uniform as far as intensity goes. I am trying to measure the signal from the generator to the ultrasonic transducer with an oscilloscope. The connection type of the transducer...
