Can somebody tell me how can I determine the SP parameter (Design Level peak ground acceleration parameter for sites not addressed by ASCE methods)?
Thanks
Our upstream folks are building 3 storage tanks API 650 about 58K bbls, A36 steel. Each one has a 48" x 48" clean our door. This entire shell sheet with opening assembly comes to the jobsite already with PWHT. The design drawings show a full size fillet weld between the repad and...
I'm considering the use of stainless steel (304/316) in equipment for gas treatment (vessels, heat exchangers and air coolers) due to the presence of CO2 and H2S.
The equipment will be designed in the following pressure/temperature range:
a. 1340 psig/250 F
b. 550 psig/250 F
c. 120 psig/250 F...
Thanks VDK44,
For my case, the equipment dimensions are:
Bundle dim.: 36' length x 20' width
Number of tube row:6
Number of tubes/row: 100
Tube outside diameter: 1"
Pitch:2.5"
Hi Danny!!!!
The Pressure Vessel handbook by Eugene F. Megyesy can be useful for you.
This books shows the most of design procedures of pressure vessels.
In this moment I looking for some method to determinate the dimensions of the headers (high and width in croos section) of any Air Cooler Heat Exchangers. I don't have software to do it. But I'd like to know some formula or practical method to calculate these dimensions
