    Bianisotropic and anisotropic materials

Hello everyone, I would like to know if there is a way to distinguish a bianisotropic or anisotropic material by measure their S parameters or maybe if we can say that the material behaves as an bianisotropic or anisotropic material when we don't know any property of the material. Thanks
