I am looking for an adhesive that will maintain its clarity at a service temperature of +300 C. It will be used to join borosilicate glass and does not need to have high adhesive proprities as the glass diameter is four inches with very little load on the joint. Thanks in advance.
Gerry, since anaerobics cure in the absence of air and the presence of metal it is difficult to get them to adhear to silicone. Some of the bigger companies such as Loctite, GE sealents and adhesives, and 3M engineered adhesives sell an activator that helps in the cure. Dave Herrick at Loctite...
