we are laying a distribution lines of small town. we have 60 valve boxes of size, varies, 1mx1m to 1.5mx1.5m. usually we use standard drawings for these valve boxes, but I want to design my own valve box can any one help me how to design it? guidelines, manuals etc..

Thank u cvg. You are right it is potable water, but what i want to know is where to place my level guage, I'm not sure but I think it is better to locate it at the outlet connected by tee, the one that say 'vent pipe with cowl' might not be for air vent as there indicated 'DN 150 uPVC' for air...
Air release valves are provided at highest points and every 500m but should not exceed 1500 m if the route is plane; wash outs are provided at lowest points in order to wash the dirt accumulated at the lower points along the pipe and it is enough to provide 1 washout in your case also it is good...
