High contamination, low flow pressure reducing valve for particle counting application

Automatic synchros in Volkswagen??
I've heard that volkswagen has an automatic transmission that instead of utilizing multi disc wet clutches, they automatically control synchros in what I've heard is basically a manual transmission.
