    MAWP

Thanks TGS4 1- Where can I find the clause that allow me to use design pressure for that in the code DIV 1? 2- if we have MAWP more than Design Pressure then we have to use MAWP for hydro test pressure calculation (1.3*MAWP)?

    MAWP

1- Doese it mean it can be work higher than design pressure?? 2-In this case we have to calculate hydrotest based on MAWP or Design Pressure?

    Radiographic Test

Hi guys, How Can I know a pressure vessel need RT test or not and which level of RT? How can I know what is the joint efficiency of that? If it was SS, or CS. Thanks.

    proof stress vs yield stress

thanks metengr. you are one of the best metengr i have ever seen ;)

    proof stress vs yield stress

Metengr Actually, I didn’t get your point, we have a column in section II for Tensile Strength and another for Yeild Strength. In this case MTR gave me the Tensile Strength and two proof Stress Rp=0.2% & 1%. But it doesn’t have anything about YS. Is it required?

Reconciliation SA-312 for ASME SECTION II 2015

metengr so it doesn't matter if we have it in the product or not? ASME is no comment?

    proof stress vs yield stress

Good morning guys, I see “proof stress 0.2% & 0.1%” in a MTR. What’s the relation between them and yield stress? Can I compare them with min Y stress in the Section II and pass the material? Thanks.

Reconciliation SA-312 for ASME SECTION II 2015

thanks metengr can I know what is the reson of having "..." in some table of ASME Section ii. i couldn't find any note ab that. for example ab titanium content for 316/316L we have {...}. what's the meaning of that? and if supplier has some titanium in the product is acceptable or not? thanks

Reconciliation SA-312 for ASME SECTION II 2015

As per ASME Sec. Part II A ,SA 240 Type 304L, hardness is given in the code. But for the forging SA 182 and SA 965 & Tubes SA 312 TP 304L, Hardness requirement is not specified. Why hardness requirements are not given for the forging & Pipes of Austenitic stainless steel? Is there any...

Reconciliation SA-312 for ASME SECTION II 2015

Good morning guys, I’m going to do reconciliation SA-312 for ASME SECTION II 2015. In table II-200-1, in other accepted edition column, I see “88a through 13b”. What’s the meaning of “a” and “b” here? I received a MTR per SA- 312-2013. Is it acceptable? thanks
