Load details to be checked on trunnion support

@dhengr First of all, We are not designing any system. We have received an pipe support inquiry for suggestions & I am voluntarily picking this one to study the parameters under such conditions where we are able to give suggestions. Just collection data/information for my understandings on my...

Load details to be checked on trunnion support

@dhengr - I have started my career & lacks experience in looking at things design point of view. I would say that the details given in your thread is really helpful to understand the basics of this kind of scenario in order to arrive arrive at a solution. Details of the properties of the GRP is...

Load details to be checked on trunnion support

Hello, There is a scenario where the lifting load & lateral load need to be checked. Attached illustration of trunnion support for reference. Can anyone guide us with the basics? Regards Sundarhttps://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=02b7b5a6-b039-43b4-b86a-4f29214ec586&file=12.jpg

    Load Bearing capacity for Bolts

Hi, Thanks for the information., Actually we have been asked to quote the pipe clamps along with the Bolts/nuts and the load has been stated in the drawing itself.,We have considered M24 instead of M25 as shown in the drawings and now the client is asking for the load capacity of these bolts.

    Material Specification Table

Hi Rp.,I was often suppose to come across the Material Grade which I need to consider for pipe supports. I am familiar with some of the Material spec, but sometimes I come across different Material grade which perhaps may point out Alloy steel and Super duplex SS, Which I will confirm by just...
