T slotted (or otherwise) framing non-metallic

I actually decided I can use Sendcutsend after an engineering friend mentioned it's a great place to get parts. They do many materials in different thicknesses without the hassle of 3D printing.

T slotted (or otherwise) framing non-metallic

Do you have any examples for either without metal fasteners or at least that are replaceable with non metal bolts/nuts? I already tried a ton but they have metal hardware with plastic wheels/stopper.

T slotted (or otherwise) framing non-metallic

Yeah, we have multiple and I'm gonna print other things for this project so trying to avoid that if possible.

T slotted (or otherwise) framing non-metallic

Entirely non-metallic or at least non-conductive casters. I'll have to look into how strong but my guess is 40lb load min. per caster. Thanks, I was debating if I should start a separate post.

T slotted (or otherwise) framing non-metallic

Does anyone know of fully non-metallic wheels or casters?

T slotted (or otherwise) framing non-metallic

I found this just now for anyone looking- https://thermoprene.com/plastic-extrusions/

T slotted (or otherwise) framing non-metallic

Thanks for the input. My thought was since you can get nice bracing for T slots and this is a gantry system that will be sensitive to movement, the corner bracing keeps the whole thing pretty solid. In hindsight now, the whole thing is on wheels so I guess it can't be that sensitive and it's...

T slotted (or otherwise) framing non-metallic

I'm looking at other options than T slot but it would make things a LOT easier.

T slotted (or otherwise) framing non-metallic

Awesome, thanks. Now T slot nuts are the next thing I'm looking for unless I 3D print or machine them and I can get some glass filled nylon screws or something.

T slotted (or otherwise) framing non-metallic

This is awesome and should work. Thanks so much. Now I'm looking for mounting/structural support brackets like the aluminum ones on Misumi but non-metallic. https://us.misumi-ec.com/vona2/detail/110300437260/?PNSearch=HBLFSN5&HissuCode=HBLFSN5&searchFlow=suggest2products&Keyword=HBLFSN5...

T slotted (or otherwise) framing non-metallic

Hoping to do the whole thing non metallic i.e. glass filled nylon screws/nuts, etc.

T slotted (or otherwise) framing non-metallic

I'm in search of non-metallic framing and T slots are the easiest to find in metal form. I looked thru an found an old post here regarding the same thing I'm doing but it's 20 years old so all the links but 1 fail and obviously it's been awhile for new companies to emerge. "I need to build...

Metal 3D printers suggestions/reivews about $10K or less with small volume high precision?

I know the Metal X from Markforge is $100k but this list I found has them down to $1500 https://all3dp.com/2/how-much-does-a-metal-3d-printer-cost/. Wondering the reliability of each of them but it sounds like others haven't used the cheaper versions on...

Metal 3D printers suggestions/reivews about $10K or less with small volume high precision?

I mean as much variety as possible around that price point but for now, just stainless should be fine. We are currently getting parts that are titanium from an outside vendor but I don't think we'd need that if it's extra cost, or vice versa.

Metal 3D printers suggestions/reivews about $10K or less with small volume high precision?

Hey All, Just wondering how well the newer metal 3D printers are and if anyone knows of legit reviews of them. We currently use the Formlabs printers with decent success for polymers but would like to move over to a metal one for smaller parts...say a volume of 3" x 5" range or even smaller...

    Heart CAD with PV branches

Hi, Does anyone know of any human heart CAD models (.sldprt, .stl, .step., etc.) with the pulminary veins with mutiliple branches attached? I have a human heard CAD model already but the PV's are cut off just above the atrium. Solidworks files preferred.

Training for Solidworks Simulation & what FEA analysis tool is best for large displacement study

Thanks. I should've been more specific as I need to work in about a 3-5" range rather than feet, but I appreciate the feedback.

Training for Solidworks Simulation & what FEA analysis tool is best for large displacement study

Hey all, Has anyone taken either of the courses offered recently for Solidworks Simulation from Goengineer or Hawkridge (maybe there's more?). Hawkridge has always been good but I noticed that the training is set up differently at Goengineer and wondering if it's more in depth. Is ANSYS...

    Fixture Swing clamp

Thanks. The Carr-Lane ones would work but they're 5 weeks out although the price is right. The McMaster ones are more complicated than I need and much too expensive but thanks for the tip.
