Anyone is familiar with Bilmat? It's a mass balancing software. I have trouble adjusting my standard deviations (error models) because I have a coherence constrain.
If the error is too big on my Cu assay, how do I know which analysis of the coherence constrain causes the problem? Is there a way...
7 to 12 is around what we estimated for a geothermal turbine
what is the tonnes/h needed per MW of a typical screw expander ?
How is the maintenance of those ??
We have processes that generate steam no matter what. the steam is produced to evacuate heat generated. The steam production is relatively steady.
On the other hand. We have processes that need steam. However, Their requirement is smaller then what is produced, + they are seasons dependent...
My plant produces steam for many processes. There is a lot of unused steam left over. We want to take that steam and generate electricity. However, our steam is so wet and sillica rich that we have to take a geothermal style turbine that has a really bad effeciency.
Would it be worth it to add...
Sillica
Sodium Potassium
Chlorides
Oxigen
Copper
Iron
Sulfites and Sulfates
all those are often found in the condensate as contaminent that can affect your engine
General electric web site might have more info
Iguess there is a direct correlation between turbine input moisture and its effeciency... Is is true with pressure ? I would guess so too.
The steam feed comes from what has not been used in our processes. As a result, we dont have a control on boiler operating parameters, because the processes...
My plant is wasting a lot of steam so we were thinking of installing a 12MW steam generator. How ever, our steam is to wet and to rich in silica... A a result, we got proposed to use a geothermal steam turbine that are apparently more resistant to bad steam quality... However, they have a bad...
