    I have software at home to convert any file (including AutoCAD) into PDF files. www.pdf995.com I have not had any problems using it. If you do pay (I think) $25 you don't have to put up with the sponsor pages. Hope this helps.

    AutoCAD properties box

    When selecting an item (such as text)then right mouse click and obtain the properties dialog box. I then click, in say, the text height to change my text height but after second ot two the box is no longer active. So I begin typing (while looking at my keyboard) then look at the dialog box once...
