    Proctor Test D-698 ASTM

    I did a laboratory on Proctor test. My dry density at W=4% is 1802 kg/m^3 and my dry density at W=6% is 1.780kg/m^3. After the compacting curve is ok. But how can i explain that? And y in many samples of Proctor results the boudary of W is 5%? N.B. Sry for my english! Natan
