please check my procedure about shock.
By mentioned table I have the peak acceleration (P=40g) and the nominal time (T=11ms).
now I did:
calculate the velocity of the pulse V=0.5TP.
-we have the total Mass (m)
k(Spring coefficient)=(v'2 * mass)/(e'2 * D'2(maximum displacement))
so we have k and D.
I want to know how to find the total energy in this shock pulse?
can i calculate it like this:
V=0.5 * 11ms * 40g * 9.81
Then Kinetic energy in the pulse = 0.5 * V'2 * mass ??
