    I am not sure what the code was...but when I picked up my car the light was out...I drove it approx 30 miles and it came back on....I was told that it takes a bit for the new cat to reset.

    I've had my check engine light on for a little while now...I took it to the shop and they scanned it...The computer said I needed a catalytic converter. So I had it replaced. How long does it usually take for the new converter to reset the check engine light? Thanks!
