I have created a macro intended to update a revision number every time it is run. For example, cell A1 contains a number, and every time the macro is run, the value in A1 increments by 1. This is the only information stored in the workbook, as the macro references and works in other workbooks. I...
I am currently working on creating a motion analysis using the trace position functionality in SolidWorks 2009 Motion Analysis. However, the mates that I need to change are driven by equations. I can't directly edit the mate, so I attempt to change it by editing the equation while still in the...
Wow, thanks. I was trying to grab the dimension straight from the FeatureManager Design tree, rather than clicking the mate dimension in the work area. Mystery solved.
I am trying to create a model where it would be extremely helpful to drive a mate with an equation, rather than editing the mate itself. (It's a fairly dynamic model and there are other factors that help determine how long the distance mate needs to be that would all otherwise need to be...
DraftingMan,
Thanks! I messed around with some of those settings, and I was able to make the axis labels smaller, but the plane labels didn't change. So only half my problem is resolved, but it is already a lot easier to look at.
I've been working on a part model that uses strictly planes and axes (about 50 of them) for reference - no solid bodies. Each plane needs to be shown and individually named. However, with all the labels the drawing is exceptionally cluttered, especially when I zoom out since the label font...
