    I had the same problem with my ProE running under win2000. The solution in my case was to change the config.pro at the option Graphics. In my case Tofflemire (thanks so much guy!) told to set it as GRAPHICS win32_gdi instead of GRAPHICS opengl. The graphic is slower, but it works. Waiting...

    it's the same that is happening to me! :-( I got my Proe2001 working on win2000, decided to upgrade DIRECTX and what happens is application opening and immediately closing, with a black screen appearing and closing.. :-( :-( no one can help us? thanks!
