    Coating graphite with graphite?

Hello, Is colloidal graphite only state graphite piece can be coated with graphite? My graphite pieces surface gets rough in use and it shoud get smoother. Graphite is used because its good refractoriness. What is the best way to coat pieces with colloidal graphite? Thanks for advises.

    Six valence crome?

Can there be six valence crome when it is used in the hard metal (WC-Co) alloying? (in milling, spray drying or sintering stages) Thanks for help!

    Slurry sieving?

Does somebody know manufacturer of wet sieves? Sieve would become to take too big agglomerates away from water-ceramicpowder-slurry. Sieve size should be around 200µm. Amounts to be sieved is not big.

    Dispersing WC-Co to water

Thanks for answer m777182, theoretical density of WC-Co is about 15kg/dm3. Powder's d0.5 to be dispersed is about 1µm and d0.9 is 2.5µm. Dimensions of my vessel are height 560mm and diameter 600mm. Should vessel's bottom be hemisphere? Powder tend to sedimentate to corner of vessel bottom.

    Dispersing WC-Co to water

Hello! I have a problem with dispersing tungsten carbide-cobalt to water. I try to make hard metal-water dispersion to spray drying. Aim is to use polyvinylalcohol as a binder. I use propeller mixer and I add powder slowly to fluid. Problem is following: If I have slow mixing speed, powder...

    Atomization with two-fluid nozzle

Hello! I am spraydrying tungstencarbide-water-slurry with two-fluid nozzle (the smallest Niro PM) . How important roles have surface tension and viscosity of slurry? Which of them are dominating when trying to make finer particles when I hold other parameters of dryer?
