Relief Valve Pressure and Overall System Pressure

Hello, I have q question regarding relief valve pressure. I have an accumulator with max. permissible pressure 350 Bar. I have seen that, one can choose Relief valve with 360 Bar. My question is gonna be: Should I construct my all other hydraulic elements like cylinder, pipelines to 360 Bar ...

    End cushioning

Hello guys, another question from me. I have a piston accumulator, and it has an end cushioning at the end of stroke of oil side. See image. I have calculated kinetic energy of the system and got the pressure peak. Normally in cylinder, we have a cushioning hole, through this oil flows. But in...

    Laminar piston rings

I faced with an application, in which laminar piston rings are used on the piston. Normally, they are used in combustion engines. It's a normal hydraulic cylinder application, but extracts out relative faster around 15 m/s. Seals may heat very fast. Is it the reason why laminar ring is used...

    Piston accumulator Shell Material ??

Hello, i need to find a material for a piston accumulator (OD=287mm, ID=245mm. Standard materials like 42CrMo4V or St52- bk+s cannot bear the pressure. (operating pressure=350, Test pressure=540Bar. Which material can you suggest, but which is standard and found in the market.
