The latest API 650 required the drain hose for oil tank to be "Stainless Steel Armored" but this requirement is not there previously. My client worry that the stainless steel jacket will damage their tank bottom as they apply very thin coat.
Anybody has any idea why they add in this clause...

My sppliers supplied me a batch of Welded tube (even though I specified Seamless tube), which i plan to use for hydrogen services. By normal practise, seamless tube is preffered. I tried to find is there any specification specified that only seamless tube to be use in hydrogen services?
There should be a table to convert flange class rating to psig, and this is different for different material. As i remember, for SS316, flange class 150 should be around 300 to 400 psig (I don't remember the exact value, I can try to check it out) and this is much lower than your valve body...

Yes, as per Davefit said, is for SCWO application. Our vessel is quite small in size, is just about 5" ID and 7" OD. height about 4m. We are looking for a material which can stand this high temperature and pressure, corrossion is not an issue as the design itself has minimised...
