Are street elbows (1/2” x 1”) installed in a 1/2” outlet NFPA 13 approved? NFPA states that the minimum steel pipe diameter is 1” but technically a street el is not pipe. I’ve seen them installed on several occasions and have heard varying opinions on whether or not they are approvable. Curious...
I have a project where the consulting engineer says a Biology Lab in a new University Building is Ordinary Group I. I feel it should be considered Light Hazard and most people I've talked to seem to agree. He is referencing NFPA 45. Do I have an argument?
