Would anyone offer some suggestions to the grade of carbon steel to
use on a shaftless auger system. I tried using A36 1/2" x 2" flat bar
in a 10" OD coil. Problem was to much heat 1500F and it twisted up.
Was thinking about trying A514. The next killer is a slow rpm 1/2 to 1 rpm
