The vibration limits imposed on Quarries are intended to prevent damage to nearby structures. There should be no need for any special foundation design. The quarry blasting will be noticeable and potentially annoying, however, it should not damage the home foundation
A good blasting plan can remove the rock without damaging the rock that will remain under the existing building.
