    Hi Steve, the mtor is made by a company called Viking, it may be a old motor. The shaft sticks out both ends of the motor almost like it was made for a grinder, anyway I hooked two wires to the starting leads and two to the conections on the motor, put a regular two prong plug on one end and...

    Thanks for the info, a electrition friend of mine looked at the motor I was using and told me that it would not work unless I opened the case and brought some more wires out, I will have to go back to the drawing board on this one, thanks again, Rodger
