    Martensitic Stainless Steel

I guess my main question is does anone stock thick plate or forged blocks of 13/4 or 17/4 martensitic stainless? Rubber lined butterfly valve failures

monaco8774, we are looking for some large buttterfly valves (32" / 800 mm. class 300 or PN25) for isolation valves for a hydrostation (i.e cold fresh water). I was wondering if I could get away with using non-offset rubber lined/rubber seated valves? Can you recomend suppliers for suitable valves?

    butterfly valve offset

I am trying to source a butterfly isolation valve for a hydrostation. Valve size is 800 mm (32") and the head of cold water is 150 m (492 ft). Would it be possible to get away with a cheaper non-offset valve or would I need double offset?
