    thanks for the quick reply... Yes, my alternate solution was to place an optical pick-up device somewhere where crankshaft position could be determined.. I will look closer.. thanks.. TJ

    differential timing?

    I want to reverse the direction of a small two cycle engine. Can someone suggest a link or help with a cct that will alter the timing output pulse from a CDI to an ignition coil so that the new pulse happens a fixed number of degrees after TDC, rather than BTDC?.. thanks..
