    Thanks for all the help...I guess I was just fishing for some known weakness with the Wegs...the salesman was telling me the same thing as Motorhead, except he said the problem occurred during normal operation; maybe his rewind shop has encountered what motorhead said and he's blaming it on...

    Term for this "BIT"

    If you're using something like AB RSLogix you can name your bit and add some pretty lengthy verbage as a description to avoid any confusion. (bitname "SCRATCH_BIT" and description "TOGGLE BIT FOR DEBUGGING 11/12/02" for example).

    Trying to fend off a salesman; we have a steel mill full of various-sized WEG motors. We've had fair reliability with them, but a pesky salesman keeps telling me that WEG's are notorious for core failures and we are doomed to continual failure if we stick with WEG. Has anybody experienced this...
