I am trying to output initial stress values through batch script. Once i run it through GUI, i get one file with initial stress values whereas the moment i run same file through script, i get two files. one file.ist containing small number of initial stress values and the other FORT.44...
Thankyou brian. But my question is should its properties be modeled as anisotropic or non-linear? if you have some material technical data, it will greatly help. i am assuming as one solid layer of about 10mm sandwitch between glass fibre layers.

I am modeling a sandwich construction of styrofoam and fibre glass.
Which element type i should use for styrofoam and how can i model material property for foam. should it be anisotropic or non-linear for styrofoam?
