    Stanweld, many thanks for your reply. The design code is ASME sec. VIII and I shall do impact test on pipe P11 at -20C (so I increase the range) in HAZ and Weld metal. Can I omit impact test on base metal P11? Or I have to test it at different temperature (for example +20C)? Thanks again jean71
